I've run one of the Betas and looked at the Thurrott screen shots and read up etc. and, yes, I like Vista.
The look of it? It's got a nice look. I guess the programmers were chaffing at the bit seeing how they could do those cool things with a production version of Windows - but although they went "glass" the overall tone is tasteful and understated - and instead of making a MacOS knock-off they kept it more like Windows, which I think was a very good idea.
I was wondering about the command-line in the thing - is there any documentation on changes, if any, to the command line and how it works? Will there be two versions ye olde cmd.exe and another some msh.exe ?? I'm reading websites that say maybe this or maybe that with nothing definite. Thank you very much.
